Privacy policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
This policy explains how AdMunch ("AdMunch", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit admunch.co.in, request a demo, or use the AdMunch service. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the rules made under it.
Our registered business details will be listed on this page once company registration is complete.
1. Two roles we play
- For our own website and customers (for example, when you book a demo or buy a plan), we decide why and how your data is used. We are the "Data Fiduciary".
- For the distributors who use AdMunch, their customer lists (garages, shops, buyers) belong to them. We process that data only on their instructions, to provide the service. The distributor is the Data Fiduciary and we act as their "Data Processor".
2. What we collect
- Demo and contact requests: name, business name, mobile number, email, city and your message.
- Account and billing: login details, plan, invoices and payment status. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment provider; we do not store them.
- Service data from distributors: parts, prices, stock, invoices and customer contact details imported from their systems; campaigns, approvals and results.
- Voice: if you use voice mode, your recording is sent to our speech provider to turn it into text. We do not store recordings.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and basic logs, to keep the service secure and working.
3. Why we use it
- To reply to your request and arrange a demo (based on your consent).
- To provide the service: suggesting offers, drafting campaigns and showing results.
- To bill you and meet tax and legal requirements.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use one distributor's data to serve another.
4. Marketing messages to a distributor's customers
AdMunch only prepares WhatsApp and other marketing messages for customers the distributor has marked as having agreed to receive them. Every marketing message includes a way to opt out. Distributors are responsible for collecting and recording that consent.
5. Who we share data with
Only with service providers who help us run AdMunch, under contracts that limit their use of the data:
- Google Cloud (hosting, database and AI models). Data is stored in the Mumbai region; AI processing may happen outside India.
- Sarvam AI (speech-to-text and text-to-speech for voice mode).
- Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram), when a distributor approves a campaign on those channels.
- Our payment provider, for subscriptions.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
Demo requests: up to 12 months unless you become a customer. Customer and service data: while your account is active, and up to 90 days after it closes, unless the law requires longer (for example, tax records).
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you. If you are a distributor's customer, contact that distributor first; we will help them respond. To use your rights, email privacy@admunch.co.in.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to people who need it, and secrets such as API keys are kept in a managed secret store.
9. Grievances
Grievance Officer: to be appointed. Until then, write to grievance@admunch.co.in. We will acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date above. For significant changes we will also tell customers by email or in the app.
